This was one of my earlier full-stack projects and gave me hands-on experience thinking about data structure, performance, and usability in a real application.

what I did

  1. 01AI designed and implemented a MongoDB schema with Mongoose models for a reef-visualization web app.
  2. 02AI improved query performance through stronger validation, indexing, and relationship design.
  3. 03AI collaborated on a 5-person team building a platform that improved ecological data access for Louisiana CCA users.
  4. 04AThe project gave me a strong foundation in backend thinking and data architecture.
